[D2I] Monthly KLAY Burn — July 2024
On March 8th 2024, DragonSwap was selected to partner with the Kaia Foundation’s (formerly Klaytn Foundation) D2I Program.
DragonSwap has firmly established itself as a platform with a vision far beyond facilitating transactions. Our selection for the Pre-D2I program was a testament to our potential impact on the Klaytn ecosystem — a potential we’ve passionately embraced, particularly through our commitment to the KLAY burn initiative. Our KLAY burn mechanism, which commits to burning 30% of our protocol revenue, is in line with the D2I Proposal’s vision and will serve to directly link the success of the protocol to the value of KLAY.
From the inception of DragonSwap to today, March 29th (KST), we have been meticulously collecting fees generated by the platform. In line with our promise and dedication to the Klaytn ecosystem, we’ve set aside 30% of these accumulated fees and converted them into KLAY .
The details are as follows:
Total KLAY burned: 27,270 KLAY
We are set to burn 72,270 KLAY, a significant contribution aimed at reducing the overall KLAY supply, underscoring our commitment to the Klaytn ecosystem’s health and prosperity.
